The research aimed to determine whether the KWL strategy could significantly improve students’ understanding of descriptive texts. Using a quasi-experimental design, the study involved two groups: an experimental group taught using the KWL strategy and a control group taught conventionally. Each class consisted of 31 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests and analyzed using SPSS version 25.0, including descriptive statistics and an independent samples t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group’s mean score (31.61 to 74.19) compared to the control group (39.03 to 69.68). The p-value of 0.000 (p &lt; 0.05) indicated a significant difference between the two groups. It can be concluded that the KWL strategy effectively enhances students’ reading comprehension by activating prior knowledge, setting learning purposes, and promoting reflection. The research method used a qualitative literature study approach, analyzing various scientific sources, media articles, research reports, and relevant digital publications. The results of the study indicate that mass media, particularly digital media, plays a significant role in conveying health messages to adolescents through engaging, persuasive, and easily accessible content. Adolescent communication patterns have shifted from face-to-face communication to faster, more visual, interactive, and participatory digital communication. Furthermore, the presence of influencers on social media is a crucial factor in the integration of health messages, acting as a source of inspiration while also potentially disseminating inaccurate information. Campina Ice Cream Industry, Tbk https://jurnal.larisma.or.id/index.php/EJR/article/view/1287 <p>This study aims to evaluate the financial condition of PT. Campina Ice Cream Industry, Tbk through an analysis of liquidity and profitability ratios during the 2019–2023 period. This study uses a descriptive method with secondary data in the form of company financial reports taken from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results show that the company's liquidity condition is very good, with an average Current Ratio of 3748%, Quick Ratio 1151%, and Cash Ratio 683%, all of which exceed industry standards. Meanwhile, the company's profitability shows quite good results, with an average Gross Profit Margin (GPM) of 56.39%, Return on Assets (ROA) of 8.60%, and Return on Equity (ROE) of 9.77%. Despite a decline in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company's financial performance recovered significantly in the following years. Overall, PT. A quasi-experimental design was employed with two groups: an experimental class taught using storyboard media and a control class taught through conventional methods. Each group consisted of 20 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through a pre-test and post-test writing assessment, focusing on content, organization, vocabulary, grammar, and mechanics. The results were analyzed using SPSS version 25, including descriptive statistics, normality and homogeneity tests, and paired and independent t-tests. Findings showed that the experimental group achieved a higher mean post-test score (78.75) compared to the control group (68.50). The significance value (p = 0.000) confirmed a meaningful difference between the groups.
