Perancangan Sistem Informasi Produk Web Untuk Mendukung Kemajuan UD Generasi Fiberglass Di Deli Serdang Menggunakan Metode Waterfall

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to design and develop a web-based product information system to support the efficiency of data management and increase the competitiveness of UD. Fiberglass Generation in Deli Serdang. The process of managing product data, sales transactions, and promotions that have been carried out manually often causes various obstacles such as recording errors, delays in information, and difficulties in monitoring stock and sales in real-time. To overcome these problems, this study uses the Waterfall method which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection was carried out through interviews, direct observation, and literature studies relevant to information systems and web-based development. The results of the study show that the web-based product information system is able to simplify the process of managing product data, transactions, and sales reports in an integrated manner. Testing with the Black Box method and User Acceptance Test (UAT) shows that all system functions are running well and according to user needs. This system also makes it easier for customers to obtain product information, improve the company's operational efficiency, and expand the reach of digital marketing. With this system, UD. The Fiberglass generation is expected to be more adaptive to technological developments and be able to compete in the modern industrial era.
