Abstract
This study aims to design and develop a web-based product information system for UD. Generasi Fiberglass in Deli Serdang to support the structured management and dissemination of product information. The existing manual processes for managing product data and conveying information to customers create challenges regarding record-keeping, information updates, and customer access to product details. The study employs the Waterfall methodology, comprising the stages of requirements, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. Data were gathered through interviews and observations (primary sources) as well as documentation and literature reviews (secondary sources). The research resulted in a web-based product information system featuring category and product management, a product catalog, category search and filtering, detailed product information, and a WhatsApp contact facility to facilitate customer communication and ordering. Functional testing demonstrated that the system's core features operate as intended; the system is accessible via both desktop and mobile devices and features a responsive design and navigation that make it easy for users to obtain product information. The developed system assists UD. Generasi Fiberglass in managing and presenting product information in a more structured manner while making it easier for customers to access product details.
